Joe's Blog Joe's Blog Where's the Shell Answer Man?

Is it greed or stupidity? This BP oil spill needs someone with some answers & they really could use the "Shell Anwer Man". When I first heard BP's "man in charge" state how hard this was for him I knew then he is another arrogant prick. How about the fisherman, boat captain's , bar & grill owners that claim the Gulf of Mexico as their office. So this "poor bastard' could not go home for the weekend . Hey dipshit it's called greed. Then the Einstein of BP decided to use golf balls & chewed up tires as a plan to stop the oil spill. Hey Tony I understand you see a lot of golf balls at the country club on the weekends, but leave them on the links.

Is it too much to ask to put a shut off valve in "before" you start a thousand dollar a second operation in the Gulf of Mexico.I was a union plumber before I started this operation of my own. I remember numerous occasions installing the potable water lines for the commercial buildings & seeing a lack of shutoff valves in the building. My job was not only to install but make sure it was done right. Many times the architect / project manager would be informed of lack of shut off valves to another branch. These "office twinkies" would always say "it cost too much" or "it is not in the budget".  I always asked them what "down time" cost?  Why shut down the whole building when one valve can save your ass. The answer is "money" the bottom line is always money.

Now our President steps up to the plate & seys someone has to be accountable foe this fiasco. Then a yahoo apologizes to Tony from BP. WTF America? Somebody voted Joe Barton into office, that is not bad enough now Joe Barton is in charge of America's Energy committee. Joe Barton tells BP boss our President was too harsh . I for one am glad we had a President with some balls that stood up for guys like me & you. It has been a long time & long overdue.

In my opinion, Joe Barton a republican from Texas is a pussy. You have the "key' to our Energy committee & no balls. My journeyman on the commercial project 20 years ago "it's all about the money". I guess Joe Barton never met the Shell Answer Man. Probably would not find him at the country club but if you walked anywhere along the Gulf of Mexico today you will see him as plain as day. Joe Barton & Tony Heyward need to find the Shell Answer Man. Who will introduce them?
